【摘要】:Thistestmethodforthedeterminationofmagneticratingisconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsofasbestosfibers,papers,felts,yarns,rovings,textileproducts,rigidsheetproducts,andgranularorpowderedproducts.Magneticratingisoneofthemeasurementsusedfordeterminingthesuitabilityofanasbestosmaterialforelectricalinsulation.Theelectricalinsulatingpropertiesofasbestosmaterialsvaryinverselywiththemagneticrating.Therefore,alowmagneticironcontentisrequiredforgoodelectricalinsulating.ThetypesofasbestostextilesclassifiedbymagneticratingaredescribedinSpecificationD2100.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheprocedureforthedeterminationofthemagneticratingofasbestosfiberandasbestostextileproducts.Thistestmethodisusedprimarilyfortestingasbestosinsulatingmaterials.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.3Warningx2014;Breathingofasbestosdustishazardous.Asbestosandasbestosproductspresentdemonstratedhealthrisksforusersandforthosewithwhomtheycomeintocontact.Inadditiontootherprecautions,whenworkingwithasbestos-cementproducts,minimizethedustthatresults.Forinformationonthesafeuseofchrysoltileasbestos,refertox201C;SafeUseofChrysotileAsbestos:AManualonPreventiveandControlMeasures.x201D;1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificsafetyhazard,see1.3.
