【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverstotallyreactiveepoxyresinssuppliedasliquidsorsolidswhichcanbeusedforcastings,coatings,tooling,potting,adhesives,orreinforcedapplications.Theadditionofhardenersintheproperproportionscausestheseresinstopolymerizeintoinfusibleproducts.Thepropertiesoftheseproductscanbemodifiedbytheadditionofvariousfillers,reinforcements,extenders,plasticizers,thixotropicagents,etc.Theepoxyresinsdescribedalsocanbeusedasstabilizersandcross-linkingagents;andtheycanbecombinedwithotherreactiveproducts.Itisnotthefunctionofthisspecificationtoprovideengineeringdataortoguidethepurchaserintheselectionofamaterialforaspecificenduse.OrdinarilythepropertieslistedinTables1and2aresufficienttocharacterizeamaterialunderthisspecification,anditisrecommendedthatroutineinspectionbelimitedtotestingforsuchproperties.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section7,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificcautionarystatement,seeNote2.Note1-ISO3673/1-1980(E)issimilarbutnotequivalenttothisspecification.Productclassificationandcharacterizationarenotthesame.
