【摘要】:1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofthecontentof5-ethylidenenorbornene(ENB)orDicyclopentadiene(DCPD)inethylene-propylene-diene(EPDM)terpolymers.Theyareapplicabletodienecontentsinthe0.1to10mass%range.1.2ENBandDCPDaredienesintroducedinethylene/propylenerubberstogeneratespecificcureproperties.Sincehighprecisionfordienecontentdeterminationhasbecomeveryimportant,aFourierTransformInfraredSpectroscopic(FTIR)methodwasdeveloped.Dienedeterminationwasperformedinthepastbyarefractiveindextechnique.Note18212;Theproceduresfor%ENBand%DCPDdifferonlyinthelocationintheinfrared(IR)oftheIRpeakbeingquantified.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
