【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifieselectricalandflammabilitysafetyrequirementsforgeneralpurposeconveyorbeltsnotintendedforuseinundergroundinstallationsandameansofcategorizingconveyorbeltsintermsofthelevelofsafetysoughtintheirenduseapplication.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotprovideelectricalsafetyrequirementsforvolumeresistancewhichmaybemeasuredbythemethodsinENISO21178andwhichisrelevanttosometypesoflightconveyorbelts.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicabletoconveyorbeltswhicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisdocumentbyCEN.NOTE1Directive94/9/ECconcerningequipmentandprotectivesystemsintendedforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospherescanbeapplicabletothetypeofmachineorequipmentcoveredbythisEuropeanStandard.ThepresentstandardisnotintendedtoprovidemeansofcomplyingwiththeessentialhealthandsafetyrequirementsofDirective94/9/EC,thisbeingcoveredinEN14973.NOTE2EN12882isnotaproductstandardbutisintendedtohelpusersofconveyorbeltstoselecttherequiredelectricalandflammabilitysafetypropertiesneededfollowingasuitableriskassessment.Norequirementsare,therefore,includedformarking,informationtobesupplied,etc.,thesemattersbeingcoveredinrelevantproductstandardssuchasENISO14890andENISO15236-1.
