【摘要】:1ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsandteststocheckthesafetyinnormaluseofelectricalaccessorieswhicharenotcoveredbyotherspecificBritishStandards.Suchaccessoriesareintendedforuseinhousehold,commercialandlightindustrialpremiseswhere:-thenominalsupplyvoltagedoesnotexceed250Va.c.single-phase,50Hzto60Hzor250Vd.c;-theratedcurrentoftheaccessorydoesnotexceed63A;-theratedcurrentofanaccessoryincorporatingscrewlessterminalsdoesnotexceed13A.Unlessotherwisestatedbythemanufacturer,accessoriesconformingtothisstandardareintendedforconnectionbycablesorflexiblecordsconformingtoBS6004,BS6007orBS6500.2Thisstandardalsocovers'plug-in'andotheraccessoriesinwhichelectricalaccessorycomponentsareincorporated,e.g.plug-pins,socket-contacts,switches,terminals,etc.NOTE.Incorporatedelectroniccomponents,printedcircuitboards,transformers,timersorothercontroldevicesshouldconformtotheirownrelevantBritishStandards.3Accessoriesconformingtothisstandardaresuitableforuseunderthefollowingconditionsofservice:-anambienttemperatureintherange-5℃to+40℃,theaveragevalueover24hnotexceeding25℃;NOTE1.Undernormalconditionsofuse,theavailablecoolingairissubjecttonaturalatmosphericvariationsoftemperatureandhencethepeaktemperatureoccursonlyoccasionallyduringthehotseason,andonthosedayswhenitdoesoccur,itdoesnotpersistforlengthyperiods.-asituationnotsubjecttodirectradiationfromthesunorothersourceofheatlikelytoraisetemperaturesabovethelimitsspecifiedabove;-analtitudenotexceeding2000mabovesea-level;-anatmospherenotsubjecttoexcessivepollutionbysmoke,chemicalfumes,rain,spray,prolongedperiodsofhighhumidityorotherabnormalconditions.NOTE2.Accessoriesconformingtothisstandardmaybesuitableforuseinotherconditions,subjecttoagreementbetweenmanufactureranduser.Informationgiveninamanufacturer'scataloguemaytaketheplaceofsuchanagreement.4Requirementsforelectromagneticcompatibilityarenotgiven,asaccessoriesdonotinthemselvesproduceextraneousemissions,noristheirfunctioningaffectedbyexternalemissions.Thereforenoemissionorimmunitytestsarenecessary.Itshouldbenotedthataccessoriescontainingactiveelectroniccomponents,otherthanluminousindicatingdevices,maybesusceptibleto,oremit,electromagneticinterference.Testsfortheseareunderconsideration.
